Phinney Ridge Gospel Choir Policies

Americans with Disabilities Policy

The Phinney Ridge Gospel Choir welcomes participants (including singers, guest performers, and musicians) and audience members with disabilities.  The policy of the Phinney Ridge Gospel Choir is to ensure equal opportunity for all people to participate in and benefit from programs and activities of the TCC Choir, regardless of disability.

Reasonable accommodations will be made for all choir members and audience members in accordance with their needs.  Members with special needs should speak with the director.  Audience members with special needs should call 206-783-2350 at least 5 days before a scheduled event and ask to speak with the director to make their needs known.

Non-Discrimination Policy

The Phinney Ridge Gospel Choir welcomes all participants (including singers, guest performers, and musicians) and audience members regardless of race, gender, national origin, color, age, religion, sexual orientation, marital status or disability with disabilities.

The choir does not accept invitations to sing at events where discriminatory language is likely to be used or where members are likely to experience discrimination of any kind.  If such language or experiences happen while at an event, the director, in consultation with the member experiencing such discrimination, will determine the most appropriate course of action.  In most cases, the most appropriate course of action will be the choir’s immediate termination of involvement with the event.
